I set up and ran a part of an event called Lanime 2 semesters in a row. Lanime is a Gaming and Anime convention that is run once a semester on Campus. I ran the LAN Room which brought in 150-200 people per semester. The first semester we ended up having networking and seating arrangement issues which we fixed on the spot. The networking issue was that there were too many people on the wireless creating latency and connection issues for some of the games. The seating problem was created because teams weren't able to sit together in a group. The second semester we solved these issues by making sure that every one was on the LAN and that we clearly defined seats for all teams. |
